Construction company SRV congratulates Vallox for its 50-year anniversary and thanks for the prolific cooperation. Harri Hirvonen, the Building Technology Manager, in SRV, say that the strengths of Vallox are the quality products and desire to listen to customers.
Construction company SRV develops and builds different kind of business premises, apartments as well as infrastructure and logistics projects in Finland and Russia. Harri Hirvonen, who has worked for 6 years as Building Technology Manager in House Building, tells that the company has done great efforts to concept the building services engineering in its projects.
-SRV invests heavily in green values in its house building and building services engineering. It means respecting the environment and aiming at lifecycle-wise construction and using clean energy. In terms of ventilation, good efficiency and lower energy consumption are in the key position. In other words, moving the air with less energy while meeting the requirements and regulations for ventilation.
According to Hirvonen, the above mentioned quality aspects are in good shape in Vallox’s products. In addition, he praises Vallox’s ability to listen to the customer’s wishes and concerns.
-It’s very important to listen to the procurement, installers, designers and consumers, and I think that Vallox has done good job in it. That is crucial both for the operation of the products as well as for their development. I like the way Vallox works. Our interaction is active by both parties.
In Finland, the cooperation with a Finnish manufacturer is easy due to the common language.
-Vallox also has excellent technical support, which is very important in all phases of the project. The available support prominent to the designer, buyer, installer, commissioner and in the end, for user. For us, it is important since we want to make sure that things are done correctly from the very beginning.
Fruitful cooperation
SRV and Vallox have done collaboration e.g. in developing apartment-specific ventilation and cooker hoods. In designing of Vallox’s latest range of cooker hoods, i.e. Vallox Delico-models, SRV’s desire to have a technically functional and visually stylish cooker hood for its construction projects played a major role.
-From our point of view, the cooperation with Vallox was excellent and happened in a good team spirit. We got an impression that people in Vallox were genuinely interested in our ideas and the conversation was open. We are happy with the outcome.
Petri Koivunen, R&D manager in Vallox, agrees with Hirvonen.
-Vallox Delico is a good example of the smooth cooperation with SRV. The clear requirements and wishes regarding the structure, functionality and appearance were helpful in the product design process. We find listening to the customer as an important approach.
