Since 2011, the co-worker of the year has been voted among Vallox’s production employees. Production Manager Mikko Mäki tells more about the vote in the video, and rewards the winner of 2021, Tuomas Lehtimäki.
The Co-worker of the Year vote began when Production Manager Mikko Mäki and production foremen wondered how Vallox could reward employees who are helpful and friendly, always eager to do their job, and good workmates overall.
It was decided that the production employees could choose the co-worker of the year among themselves, and that person would then receive an incentive reward by the employer. According to Mikko, the employees consider this vote to be very positive thing. Over the years, every employee chosen to be the Co-worker of the Year, has definitely earned to win.
The Co-worker of the Year 2021
This year’s vote has been made and the winner is Tuomas Lehtimäki. This is how Mikko describes the winner:
“Once again, a great choice! Tuomas always thinks of Vallox and the people of Vallox in everything he does, and I think he can be described as a dream workmate and employee. He is always happy and cheerful, a reliable worker who does his job with honour.”
